A portrait film of the mountain athlete Rasmus Kragh. Rasmus has a mission to become the first Dane ever to climb Mount Everest without artificial oxygen. Rasmus has twice tried to climb the mountain from the north, but bad weather conditions have forced him to interrupt his mission both at 8,600 meters.

In 2019 he returns to complete his mission – this time from the mountain’s southern side.

Both ascents done alone, without support and without the use of artificial oxygen.
